Marion Lynn Case, 61, of Madison Lake, died peacefully, surrounded by his wife and daughter, Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato.

A Celebration of Marion's Life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 150 Stadium Court, Mankato. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.

Marion was born April 14, 1955 to Donald "Jack" and Doris (Hickman) Case in Mitchell, South Dakota. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 1973 and attended Mitchell Vo-Tech. Marion was united in marriage to Bertina "Tina" In't Veld on September 3, 1988 in Sioux Falls, SD. Marion started his career as a medical x-ray service technician, working in Sioux Falls, SD, Milwaukee, WI, and Mankato. In 2008 he started his own business, Alpha X-Ray Service Inc. and retired in June of 2013 for health reasons. Marion enjoyed watching baseball and NASCAR, fishing and boating, riding motorcycle, woodworking, tending his fish aquarium, and spoiling his daughter.

Marion is survived by his wife, Tina; daughter, Kristina Lynn; mother, Doris Case of Mitchell, SD; siblings, Warren "Mike" (Karen) Case of Hermosa, SD, Dwight "Donnie" (Jeanne) Case of Madison, SD, Janice (Dave) Williams, Jeannette (Jon) Roeder all of Mitchell, SD; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gerri (Gary) Burmeister of Windom, MN, Marv (Betty) In't Veld of Orange City, IA, Arlen (Sue) In't Veld of Belle Fourche, SD, Henrietta "Hank" Van Beek of Doon, IA, Evelyn (Dennis) Gundvaldson of Worthing, SD; nieces, nephews, and extended family.
