Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the wife of Thomas S. Silvi. Carol was the daughter of Julia Remavich Scavone and Patrick Scavone. Before retirement, Carol was employed by Dr. Bernard Frantz D.D.S., Dr. Bernard E. Frantz D.M.D. and the late Dr. Milton H. Burnat D.D.S., Kingston.
Carol was a devout Catholic and member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, Thornhurst. As an avid reader of the Bible, she prayed for everyone and saw the good in all people. She believed everyone had a guardian angel, but she was an angel to all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward J. Scavone; sisters, Janette Campbell; Patricia Albrecht; and mother and father-in-law, Joseph and Anna Silvi.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 50 years, Thomas S. Silvi; sister, Elizabeth Strasburger and husband, John; sisters-in-law, Barbara Silvi; and Betsy Scavone.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mark's Church, Thornhurst, by the Rev. Thomas J. Maloney. Masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Twp.
Interment in St. Francis Cemetery, Plains Twp.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark's Church or the donor's choice.
