CJ lived life to the fullest. A veteran of the US Navy during the Korean War, he studied Electrical Engineering after receiving an honorable discharge. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in three years while working two full-time jobs to support his young family. He later earned his Master’s degree in Engineering from SMU. He went on to work as a Director of Engineering for Aerospatiale Helicopter for many years. He enjoyed playing tennis, watching football, competing in local bowling leagues, and spending time working in his yard. He was a long-time member of the Elks Club in Greenville. Most of all, CJ was a family man and loved and cherished time spent with them.
