Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Grand Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grand Rapids Cemetery, Grand Ridge.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Rodrick, Richard, Justin and Michael Schiffbauer, LeRoy Buckley, Phillip and Matthew Durdan, Michael Keenan, Terry Finney, Jim Funfsinn and Ryan Mahnke.
Marie was born on Jan. 19, 1954, in Streator, to Glenn and Martha (Schmitz) Schiffbauer. She married John Durdan on Sept. 13, 1992. He survives.
Also surviving are children, Tommie (Tricia) Haynes, of Tonica, Tammie Biskie, of Leonore, and Lindsey (Jake) Handzus, of Streator; nine grandchildren; brother, Thomas Schiffbauer, of Grand Ridge; sisters, Judy (LeRoy) Buckley, of Oglesby, and Jenny (Bill) Rodrick, of Tonica; and several nieces and nephews.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard; sister, Juanita Thompson; niece, Valerie Buckley; and nephew, Dickie Finney.
She attended Deer Park Grade School and Streator High School. She was a member of the Washee Riders Club and retired from Ottawa Walmart as deli supervisor.
Marie enjoyed her family and animals.
