Roxie RaNae Roth Dunning, 67, of Fort Morgan, Colorado passed away on December 28, 2020. She was born in Glendive, Montana on May 9, 1953. Most of her early life was spent in South Dakota which she always considered home. In her last year of high school, her family moved to Fort Morgan, Colorado where a handsome, young man caught her eye. That man was Chuck Dunning and they were married a few years later. Much of their married life was spent in Longmont, Colorado where they raised their two boys, Jeff and Chris. Her boys are enormous, but she had them wrapped around her tiny finger. She instilled in them the values of hard work and loyalty. She was small in stature but big in love and dedication. She defined "Momma Bear" and loved supporting her children and grandchildren in various activities. Roxie was the force behind her family's successes. Never wanting to be in the spotlight, she organized and ran not only her family, but multiple businesses. She could work circles around anyone and was the first to volunteer to help and serve. She was extremely selfless and even through her battle with cancer, she never wanted to be a burden to anyone. She bore that unwelcomed encumbrance with grace and dignity. She was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and strived to be more like her Savior daily. She will be sorely missed, every hour of every day. Until we meet again. She was preceded in death by her sister, Pamela Roth Emerick. She is survived by her husband, Charles Phillip Dunning Jr., son Jeff (Natalie), son Chris (Krista), six grandchildren Hannah, Isaac, Isabella, Ty, Ellie, and Jack, her parents Jack and Mary Roth, siblings John Roth, Vickie Roth, Patty Lancaster, and Cody Roth (Kristen). A viewing will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021 with the funeral to follow at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 336 Cherry Street in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
