JONATHAN'S OBITUARY
Jonathan Andrew Pounders, 45, of Tishomingo, Mississippi, died Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at his residence.

Jonathan was employed at Tiffin Motor Homes and was a die-hard Ole Miss fan. He loved bass fishing and deer hunting. He also enjoyed spending time on the lake and camping, and especially loved to spend time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Pounders of Tishomingo; his mother, Wanda Harris (Ken) of Golden; his mother-in-law, Anita McVay of Tishomingo; a step-son, Logan Thomas of Tishomingo; two brothers, Jeremy Pounders (Kimberly) of Cherokee, AL, and Tim Pounders (Melissa) of Iuka; a step-brother, Dustin Harris of Belmont; 11 nieces and nephews, Luke Pounders, Chloe Pounders, Aiden Pounders, Joshua Pounders, Emerald Pounders, Easton Bridges, Ayden Bridges, Zeb Bridges, Preston Goode, Addison Moncrief, and Lilly Martin; and a great-nephew, Hezekiah Pounders.

He was preceded in death by his father, H. D. Pounders; and his father-in-law, Kenneth McVay. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 3, at Paden Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Robbie Crane.

Interment will follow in Fairview Church of God Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Logan Thomas, Dewayne Roach, Dustin Harris, Luke Pounders, Lonnie Stepp, and Allen Bridges.
Honorary pallbearers include Tim Pounders, Jeremy Pounders, Joshua Pounders, and Aiden Pounders.

Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 2, at Paden Baptist Church.
