Gary was a graduate of Moberly High School, class of 1977. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a self-employed contractor for 30+ years. Gary loved floating, shooting and eating. Gary loved spending time with family and friends.
Gary is survived by his significant other Dianne Fainter of the home, four sons Anthony (Mardell) Rippel of Moberly, MO, Jason Rippel if Iowa, Andrew (Samantha) Rippel of Moberly, MO, Chadrick (Brooke) Rippel of Clifton Hill, MO, a daughter Amanda (Andrew) Stewart of Kansas City, MO, step daughters Belinda Still of Keytesville, MO, Dinelle Fainter of Salisbury, MO, 18 grandchildren, and multiple great grandchildren, a half- sister Janice (Jim) Musick of Moberly, MO, and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew.
Graveside services with military honors will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Memorials may be made to Larry's Warrior Foundation.
