KITTERY -- Warren S. Seward, 42, of 7 Langton Street in Kittery, passed away unexpectedly on July 31, 2006, at his home.

He was born in Portsmouth Hospital on Oct. 25, 1963 the son of Elmer and Elizabeth (Tibbetts) Seward.

Warren was the beloved brother of Dorothy and Steven Perry of Woburn, Mass. and Edith Morgan of Kittery. He was a loving uncle to Anthony Morgan of Bangor, Andrew Morgan of Kittery, Brooke Perry of Woburn, Mass., Steven Perry Jr., his godson of Woburn, Mass.; and his great nephew, Anthony Morgan Jr. of Bangor.

Warren lost his hearing as a toddler and attended the Portsmouth Rehabilitation Center before attending the Baxter State School in Falmouth for seven years. In 1975 his mother advocated for him to be mainstreamed into the Kittery Public School system. He graduated from R.W. Traip Academy with the class of 1984, where he received the Trustees Award upon graduation. He has been an active member of the reunion committee since graduation.

He worked at Cindy Ann Cleaners, Tuff Cote Dynol, Sanel Auto Parts, Vehicle Village in York and most recently Jamar Auto Body Supply in York.

Warren truly enjoyed being a member of the Kittery community and his home here. He attended the Second Christian Congregational United Church of Christ in Kittery as a youth, and was an active member of the Kittery Historical Society for many years. He enjoyed working on and collecting classic cars. He was known for his ability to remember peoples special days; birthdays, anniversaries and the like were not forgotten.
