Roy A. Christensen, 85, of Greenville, RI, formerly of Holliston and Sandwich, MA, passed away on September 4, 2014. He was the loving husband of the late Mary T Christensen for fifty nine beautiful years. Roy is the father of Arthur J. Christensen and his wife Jacqueline of Coventry, RI, Kathy A. Wheeler and her husband Russell Wheeler of Medway, and the late Linda Christensen. He also leaves his four grandsons, Scott and Stephen Wheeler of Medway and Marc and Matthew Petersen of Sandwich. He was predeceased by his brother Gilbert Christensen of NH.

Roy served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

A period of visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Monday, September 8th at the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road, Marstons Mills. A funeral home service will begin at 12:30 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mosswood Cemetery, Cotuit.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
