Mrs. Facio was born in Arlington, Arizona and moved to Fresno in 1939.
She was a devout Catholic; she served as Lector at Mt. Carmel Parish for 12 years and at St. John's Cathedral for 13 years.
Mrs. Facio was a homemaker and foster grandparent, she worked at Valley Medical Center, Valley Children's Hospital in pediatrics and at Leavenworth and Jefferson Elementary Schools.
Mrs. Facio was proudly employed with Dr. Joseph Reynolds and Mrs. Edith Reynolds and Mr. Jack Warner and Mrs. Evelyn Warner of Kirby Co. of Fresno.
Mrs. Facio was also a life long member of the Auxiliary Post 8900. May the Angels carry you safely to the loving arms of Jesus on your last flight home.
Mrs. Facio is survived by her four children, three sons and one daughter, George Saldate and his wife Carmen and their children, George Saldate and Anita Talley, Gilbert Saldate, and daughter-in-law, Irene Soto and their children, Gilbert and Greg Saldate, Patricia Saldate Trinidad and her children, Sandie Trinidad-Prieto and Pio Gabriel Trinidad and Leonard Facio and his children, Ken, Lenny, Lance, Jason and Daniel Saldate and daughter, Deanna Cordova; several precious great-grand-children; and two sisters, Eva Botello and Rose Amparano.
Visitation will be held at Tinkler Funeral Chapel & Crematory on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Recitation of the Rosary will be in the Chapel also on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John's Cathedral on Thursday, October 11, 2007, at 10:30 a.m , followed by the Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
