Mary A. Wigal, 98 of Wood County, WV, died December 30, 2020, at Worthington Healthcare Center.

Mrs. Wigal was born June 28, 1922, in Wood County, WV, daughter of the late John S. and Iris E. Bailey Amos. She was a lifelong homemaker and was generous in offering her time and assistance to others. Her friendly smile will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Mrs. Wigal is survived by two sons and their wives, James M. (Lee) Wigal of Pittsburgh, PA and Ronald A. (Sherrell) Wigal of Parkersburg, WV; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband of 60 years, Alva M. Wigal; two brothers, Roger Amos and Charles “Berkley” Amos; three sisters, Winifred Rose, Charity Gray and Jean Amos; and one granddaughter, Autumn Pintado.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to any local food bank.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor David Carrico officiating. Burial will follow in Lubeck Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.

For those wishing to attend the services, CDC guidelines will be followed, social distancing will be observed and masks are mandatory.
