Benjamin Messiah Mobley, the only son of Susie Roney Mobley and the late King Benjamin Mobley, was born on February 2, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and departed this life December 12, 1993.

Benjamin was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System, graduating fro Central High School for Boys. He completed his education at Temple University.

At the time of his death, Ben was employed by Securitylink Inc. in Brookhaven, Pennsylvania as a Security Consultant. Previous to joining Securitylink, Benjamin worked as a Youth Counselor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Commonwealth of Virginia. He also served as a Police Officer for thirteen years for the Philadelphia Police Department.

Benjamin was involved with serving mankind in many ways and was a dedicated worker for the Share Program in Philadelphia. Throughout his life, he was, in every sense of the word, a humanitarian. His amicable personality drew people to him.

He leaves to mourn; his wife, Marilyn, four children, Cathy, Steven, and Toni of Bensalem, and Kelly of Camden, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Benjamin (Buster), Terri, Tara, and Christen; his mother, Susie Roney; one sister and brother-in-law, Mercedes and Donald Warner of Tinton Falls, New Jersey; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of devoted friends.
