Mahone Bay - Max K. Joudrey, 70, St. Stephen, N.B., formerly of Bridgewater, died Sunday in Mahone Bay. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Frederick and Nellie (Aulenback) Joudrey. He was a veteran of the Second World War, and served overseas with the Canadian Army. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #49, Mahone Bay. He is survived by his wife, the former Mae Slauenwhite; a daughter, Marie (Mrs. Allen Mayranen); a son, Leroy, both of New Hampshire; four sisters, Lougreta (Mrs. Enos Crouse), Sudbury, Ont.; Stella (Mrs. Everett Mansfield), Bessie (Mrs. Donald Bray) both of Copper Cliff, Ont.; Doris (Mrs. Robert Mader), Mahone Bay; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Grant; a sister, Kathleen. The body is in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where Legion service will be 7 p.m. today. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
