Albert Eudean Bellon, well known as “Bert” by family and close friends, age 66 of Corydon, Iowa passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Chariton Specialty Care.
Albert was born to John & Twila (Haff) Bellon in Corydon on March 6, 1954. He received his education from Wayne Community High School, graduating in 1973. He was employed by Neely Manufacturing for many years.
He enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his grandchildren and working on vehicles. He restored a 1979 Mercury Cougar, that he was very proud of. Bert had quite the sense of humor, although he was a quiet spoken man. His favorite past time was fishing and watching the Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes.
Survivors include his children: Janice Bellon (Ron Parham) of Corydon, Felicia Nickell (Kyle) of Lineville, Casey Parkhurst (Kenneth) of Wichita Falls, grandchildren: Cobi Norris (Brooke), Cori Powders, Cami Powders, Tayler Nickell, Seth Parkhurst, Shaelyn Parkhurst, siblings: Victor Bellon (Barb), Viola Howie (Jim), Carmen Bellon (G.W. Wilkins) and numerous extended family. He was preceded in death by siblings: Shelby Laughlin, Leona Bardwell, Nancy Gillaspy, John Dale Bellon, Terry Bellon and his parents.
A celebration of life will take place at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service from 1-2:00 pm.
