(1885 - 1973)

Dominico Balzan, 88, of Rockwood, died Sunday at a Manitowoc hospital.

Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Reif Mills. The Rev. John M. Haen will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Eden, Wis.

Mr. Balzan was born Mar. 10, 1885, at Calvene, Italy, son of the late Tony and Marie Balzan. He married Angelina Testolin in 1908 at Fond du Lac. He was employed at Rockwood Lime Co. for many years, retiring in 1950. Mrs. Balzan preceded him in death Mar. 6, 1963.

Survivors include four sons, Evo, of Manitowoc, Tony, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, Orlando, of Plymouth and Alex, of Rockwood; a daughter, Mrs. Tony (Mary) Zucchi, of Rockwood; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 o'clock this Tuesday evening, where a memorial service will be at 8 p.m.
