JON'S OBITUARY
78, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Family was very important to her. She was member of Summit Heights United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Needlers group. She was a volunteer for the Fern Creek-Highview Ministries, attended veritas classes at Bellarmine University, liked to read, loved flowers and travel especially to New Smyrna Beach Florida.

She was preceded in death by her son, Thad Johnson; her parents, John and Alma Targonski; and a brother, Mike Targonski.

She is survived by her loving husband for over 60 years, Bob L. Johnson; a daughter, Laura Nicklies (John); a grandson, John Nicklies Jr. (Angie Colyer); and a sister-in-law, Cathy Targonski.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Norton’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the Hosparus inpatient unit at Norton Healthcare Pavilion.

Her funeral service will be private with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 – 7 p.m. Friday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway.
