Mrs. Eberhart died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at Presbyterian Manor.

She was born June 15, 1899, on the homestead in Clearfield, the daughter of Henry and Minnie Meeder Hausman. She attended Clearfield Union District 52. She graduated from Lawrence Business College.

Mrs. Eberhart was a homemaker. She formerly worked at Poehler Mercantile Co. Wholesale Grocers as a stenographer, at Rowlands College Bookstore as a bookkeeper and at Sunflower Ordnance Plant in administration during World War II. She was a charter member of Central United Methodist Church in 1948. She was a 51-year member of Order of Eastern Star in Lawrence and Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem.

She married Harold E. Eberhart on Dec. 14, 1922, in Lawrence. He died Nov. 15, 1980.

A grandson, Scott McDaniel, died in 1990.

Survivors include a son, Norman Eberhart, Lawrence; a daughter, Carolee McDaniel Caylor, Commerce Township, Mich.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
