Mr. Bruer was an old settler in the Lyons community and moved to Texas a year ago last September in the hopes of benefiting his health. He had been sick for some time, but the family did not know that his life was in any danger, and his sudden death is a shock both to his family and to the community. The body will be brought to Lyons for burial, the notice of the time of the funeral will appear tomorrow.
