Suddenly entered into rest on July 12, 1996. He was the son of Stephen and Catherine D'Acquisto.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; three daughters, Donna (James) St. Denny, Margaret Mills, Michele (John) Eaton of Binghamton; four sons, David (Kimberly), Michael (Laurie), Lt. Joseph U8N (Estelle) of Maryland and James (Tracy) D'Acquisto; four sisters, Rosel (Frank) Barbato, Mary Barbato, Frances Cramer, Yolanda (Joseph) Cometa: a brother, Stephan (Rowena) D'Acquisto; twelve grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was a proud Veteran of World War II.
He retired from Eastman Kodak and was past President of the Flower City Jazz Society.
Friends may call at the Thurston Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. His Funeral Services on Monday, at 11 AM, in the funeral home Chapel. Interment in the White Haven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Franciscan Friars 3376 Mount Read Boulevard in his memory.
