Laura Lucille Beatty, 92, formerly of Chester, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 11, 2021.
Born, April 5, 1928, in Yorkville, PA., she was a daughter of the late Carl C. and Dolly Sayre Swisher.
Lucille was a daily faithful studier of God’s word. Lucille would witness frequently to the caregivers at the Orchards of East Liverpool where she resided for the last 2 ½ years.
She was a lover of music especially the old hymns of faith. Lucille loved singing with the tenor voice God had blessed her with.
She was a homemaker and a graduate of Chester High School and a Baptist by faith.
Lucille will be missed by her daughters, Terry Cook and Deborah Phillips both of Chester; grandchildren, Brian and Jeremiah Cook, Amanda Wells, Rebecca Sanford; great-granddaughter, Abbey Sherwood; brothers, David Swisher of East Liverpool, Joseph Swisher of Newell, WV. and Charles Swisher (Loretta) of Chester and sister, Charlotte Pat Swisher of Chester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Beatty, son, Douglas A. Beatty; brothers, Carl C. Swisher, Bill Swisher; sisters, Ila Lee Wonders and Sandra Lebleanc and son-in-law Daniel Cook.
Rev. Ernest Peachy Sr. will celebrate Lucille’s life, Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 4:00 PM, at Arner Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family 4 hours prior to the service from Noon-4:00PM. Private interment will be held at Columbiana County Memorial Park. 1-11-2021
