Betty Colleen Watson Brugha was born November 5, 1949 in Van Zandt County to the late William Elmer Watson and Dovie Dee Edgar Watson. She had been a resident of Van for 5 years, formerly living in Mesquite. Betty worked for Walmart for 20 years, previously working as a dispatcher.
Betty passed away at the age of 71 on December 28, 2020. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Wayne Brewer, and brother, Robert Watson.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Richard Brugha; children, Michelle Grant, Shannon Casper, Rickie Lindley, and Casey Brugha; sister, Wanda Osborn; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
