She was born on October 25, 1925, in Decatur, Indiana to the late Archie Parr and the late Carol (Baumgartner) Parr. She was united in marriage to Harold Richard Bebout and preceded her in death April 22, 2009.
Betty was a member of Grace Bible Church in Berne, Indiana. She was a very accomplished pianist and was the church organist at Calvary Bible Church, Berne for over 30 years. Betty had a strong faith and belief in Jesus Christ.
She was a graduate of Berne High School and she also attended Bob Jones University. Betty also worked in production at Dunbar Furniture. Betty and her husband and son, Michael, were avid I.U. fans.
Betty is survived by her son, Michael Bebout (USAF Ret.) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; grandson, Nicholas Stout of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and brother, John Parr of Columbus, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by a son, Brian L. Bebout and a brother, Dwight Parr.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne with Pastor Harold Klinker officiating. Burial will follow at M.R.E. Cemetery in Berne, Indiana.
Family and friends will be received two hours prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
