Gordon Duane Addington of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away December 25, 2020, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 73. He was born January 29, 1947, in Hot Springs, South Dakota, the son of Dean and Janell Harsha Addington. He married Louise Lynn Nuske on July 1, 1968, in Colorado and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a police officer and detective for the Aurora, Colorado Police Department. Gordon lived in Mountain Home since moving from Aurora, Colorado, in 1994. After moving to Mountain Home, he was a school bus driver for the Mountain Home School District for nearly 20 years. He was an active member and Elder at the Christian Church of Mountain Home and participated in Promise Keepers. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Louise Addington of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Christa Pauline May of Aurora, CO; son, Casey Andrew (Janelle) Addington of Clover, SC; sister, Faye Noffsinger of McPherson, KS; brother, Carl (Jill) Addington of Fairbanks, AK; and seven grandchildren, Julie, Taylor, Sophie, Eliott, Dalton, Joel, and Lily.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Devin Scott Addington.

A Celebration of Life for Gordon will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Christian Church of Mountain Home, with Ministers Gene McCoy and Eric Dwyer officiating. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Due to current restrictions, masks are required. A video recording will be available after the service.

Memorials may be made to a ministry, charity, mission, or a shelter of choice.
