Bernard A. Collins, 70, of 20 Church St., Peacedale, RI, died Monday, April 26, 1954, at South County Hospital, Wakefield, after a brief illness.

Mr. Collins, a former resident of 4 Scandia Ave., Warwick Downs, Warwick, lived with his son, Francis B. Collins, of Peacedale for the last four years.

Born November 8, 1883, he was a son of Patrick and Bridget (McGuire) Collins. He was employed by the U.S. Gutta Percha Paint Company, Providence, for many years, retiring in 1950.

Survivors, besides his son, include a daughter, Mrs. Agnes L. Bergin of Warwick and seven grandchildren.
