At age of 85 she died in Moultrie, Georgia. A native of Illinois, she graduated from Butler University and recieved two post-graduate degrees from the same instition. She was a school teacher for 38 years,and her career included almost every grade from first to college. She was preceded in death by her husband,the Rev. James Wesley Adcock,well-known evangelist and educator who once was a Gods Bible School faculty member and in whose honor the campus chapel is named.
Survivors include her daughter Wesena Adcock Jordon; her sons Dr.D.W. Adcock, Dr. S.N. Adcock and Dr. S.R. Adcock, other relatives.
