He was a native of Detroit and a resident of Fort Pierce since 1958, coming from Adrian, Mich.
Mr. White was finance director for St. Lucie County for 23 years, retiring in 1991.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. White was a member of Community United Methodist Church and the Fort Pierce Lions Club. He also was an avid bowler.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Izola White of Fort Pierce; a son, Jeffrey Allen White of Fort Pierce; a daughter, Vickie Lynn Frederick of Hollywood, Md.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

SERVICES: Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Haisley-Hobbs Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.Burial will be at White City Cemetery.
