Mrs. Scofield was born in Moody County, April 26, 1884, was married to Allen Scofield at Flandreau, November 2, 1904, moved to Pine City December, 1907. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and three children aged respectively six, four and two years. Death came as a terrible shock. Deceased was highly respected and much thought of by her friends and neighbors. Thomas Greenwood left Monday, March 10, for Pine City but arrived there after his daughter had passed away.
Funeral was held at the farm home of the family of the deceased near Pine City and the remains brought to Flandreau, arriving here Friday afternoon and interred in union Cemetery, short services being held at the grave, conducted by Rev. D.C. Arms.
