Mrs. Wilson was a 1949 graduate of Roopville Georgia High School where she loved to play basketball. She was a Southern Bell switch board operator for several years.
On September 3, 1954, she married the love of her life, Rev. Horace Wilson, who passed away May 4, 2020. She loved people, her church, shopping in downtown Carrollton, a good friend to many and loved sharing Jesus to everyone. Proverbs 31, she was a very faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Wilson was a faithful member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Horace Wilson; brothers, Durell and Dorothy Barrow, Rance Barrow.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by daughters, Denise and Rickey Bice of Hiram, Georgia, Janet and Kevin Kersey of Villa Rica, Georgia; sons, Mark and Sherry Wilson of Carrollton, Georgia, Don Wilson of Carrollton, Georgia; sister, Carolyn Laney of Carrollton, Georgia; many extended generations.
