WHITAKER--Mr. Charles F. passed away suddenly in his 28th year September 10, 1947, at Miamisburg, Ohio. Beloved husband of Mrs. Mary E. Whitaker [this was actually his mother]; devoted father of Charlotte Marie Whitaker; and survived by three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Sweeney, Mrs. Clara Cary, and Mrs. Ethel Shackles; two brothers, William Whitaker of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Elmer Whitaker of Lakeland, Ky.; one half brother Leonard Presley of Louisville. Mr Whitaker will be at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, Oak and Schiller Ave., after 7 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 1947. Services for Mr. Whitaker will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 12. Interment in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
