Emigrated as a boy and his mother died enroute and buried at sea. Father died shortly after arrival. Peter enlisted in the Pennsylvania Militia in Westmoreland Co. PA. and served in Capt. James Sterret's Co. as a Ranger on the frontier.
Peter married Mary BROWN ca 1783, Mary was born near Baltimore, Maryland and died 4 Apr 1831 in Pickaway Co., Ohio.
