Hubert Haywood Chambers, 71, of Askew, MS, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at his residence. He was a retired auto mechanic. Services were held Thursday, April 20 at Pate-Jones Funeral Home with interment at Truslow Cemetery in Sarah, MS.
Mr. Chambers is survived by his wife, Joanne Petkus Chambers of Askew, MS; two daughters, Belinda Pittman of Tunica, MS and Maryland Donnaway of Byhalia, MS; two step-daughters, Chrisdale Martin of Senatobia, MS and Rebekah Lee of Coldwater, MS; one son, Johnny Chambers of Tupelo, MS and one step-son, Woodrow Oaks of Horn Lake, MS; one sister, Beatrice Dunson of Batesville, MS; six brothers, Walter Chambers of Biloxi, MS, Kenneth Chambers, Wiley Chambers and Enos Chambers, all of Southaven, MS, Lamar Chambers and Thomas Chambers, both of Sarah, MS; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
