Billie James Brissel, Sr., age 68, of Mulberry, FL died on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at his home due to complications from cancer. He was born May 17, 1938 in Jessup, GA. He was a maintenance mechanic for IMC Phosphate for 30 years. He attended First Baptist Church of Mulberry, was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a volunteer with The Share Program of Polk County.
Mr. Brissel is survived by his wife of 34 years, Pacita L. Brissel of Mulberry; sons, Rodger and Anthony Brissel, both of Bartow and Terrance Brissel of Lakeland; daughters, Ashley Rae Butler of Mulberry and Jennifer McClain of Ft. Meade; brothers, Ervin and Robert Radford; sisters, Glenda Grace and Patricia Robitzsch, all of Bartow; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Gentry-Morrison, Dukes-Steen Chapel. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Mulberry. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
