Carole was born on December 17, 1944 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of George Clymer and Lorine Benton Clymer. She married Louis Timothy “Tim” Duke on September 11, 1961 at St. Pius Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. They were married for 59 years before her passing. Carole was a novice genealogist. She enjoyed studying her family history and tracing her lineage. Anyone who knew Carole knew of her exceptional cooking skills. Some would say she made the best fried chicken and gravy in all the south. Family was everything to Carole; her life revolved around them and she would do anything for them. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, she cherished them dearly. Carole was a devout Catholic and had attended St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Bonham, Texas for over 15 years. She absolutely adored babies. Carole was a Pro-life advocate; she understood how precious life was and how important it was to give a voice to the unborn. Her faith was strong and unwavering and she dearly Loved the Lord. She will, most ardently, be missed and memories of her will be cherished by all who knew her.
Carole is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Michael Glen Duke and Christopher Lyne Duke; daughter, Tonya Marie Duke; brothers, Howard Clymer and Buddy Clymer; and sister, June Clymer
