Abigail Violet Nichols Barlow, 25, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021. She was born on January 31, 1995, in Presque Isle, Maine, to Kimberly Ann Waddell Knight and James Charles Nichols.

Abigail graduated Westbrook High School in 2013. After graduating high school, she attended Lamar State College in Port Arthur. She worked at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital for six years, before working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Woodland Heights. Abigail loved movies, music, and her fur babies. She was a loving daughter who always had the most beautiful smile. Abigail was an old soul and was a giver. She was an amazing person and touched anyone she came in contact with. She always wanted to make someone happy.

Survivors include her parents, Kimberly Knight and Steve of Beaumont; father, James Nichols of Beaumont; spouse, Joshua Barlow of Nacogdoches; loving in-laws, David and Darlene Barlow of Lumberton; grandparents, Mary and Alan Ritchie of New Brunswick, Canada; and Elta Knight of Farmerville, Louisiana; aunts, Jadeanne Hayes and her husband, Jeff, of Beaumont; Pamela Lavoie and her husband, Dean of Frenchville, Maine; and Cindy Johns and her husband, Chuck, of Monroe, Louisiana; uncle, Andrew Albert of Montreal, Canada; cousins, Kelli Trevino, Kyle Hayes, and Jason Hayes all of Beaumont, Jacob Munoz, and Seth Munoz of Frenchville, Maine; and numerous other family members and very close friends.

A gathering of Abigail’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by her memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

Memorial contributions may be made in Abigail’s memory to The Arc of Greater Beaumont 4330 Westridge Lane, Beaumont, Texas 77706. Abigail was an advocate for organ donation. The family would like to encourage others, in Abigail’s honor, to also become an organ donor and save a life.
