Clara Donna Boone was born August 19, 1934, in Leedey, Oklahoma to William B and Grace (Gibbs) Barten. She died on January 20, 2021, at the age of 86 in her Assisted Living Home in Mansfield, Texas.

Donna grew up in Leedey and graduated from Leedey High School in 1952 and moved to Oklahoma City to go to business college. She married James Boone on November 14, 1960, in Inglewood, California and became a wife and homemaker. They did not stay in California long and moved back to Oklahoma in 1961. Donna had two children, Donis and Greg. They lived in Oklahoma City until 1979 when they moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Donna moved in 2007 to Arlington, Texas to live near her daughter Donis. Donna was a dedicated member of the Church of Christ, studying the bible daily, and was at church anytime they had services. She loved her family very much and worked hard to create a beautiful home for her family. She had many friends whom she loved who she invited to her home for small church gatherings and parties. Her many hobbies included needlepoint, ceramics, bowling, crossword puzzles, solitaire, and oil painting.

Clara Donna is preceded in death by her husband, James Boone, her parents William B. and Grace Barten, her brother Chris Barten, and three sisters Irene Graybill, Moneta Tullis and Irma Peck. Donna is survived by one sister Margaret Craig of Killeen, TX, her daughter Donis Holt and her husband Mark of Arlington, TX, her son Greg Boone of Missouri City, TX, three grandchildren Gabrielle Pryor and fiancé Michael Thomas of Tulsa, OK, Lauren Holt of Burleson, TX and Nicholas Holt of Arlington, TX and three great grandchildren as well as a large extended family.
