Anita Leona DeSha, age 88 of Hillview went to be with the lord on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at her residence. She was born August 7, 1932 in Hillview, the daughter of Buell and Mildred Pinkerton Page. She married LeRoy Desha May 2, 1950 in Hillview and he preceded her in death April 2, 1998.

She is survived by a daughter, Marlene (Tom) Lakin of White Hall, three grandchildren, Deric Lakin, Laela Gutherie, Josh DeSha, six great grandchildren, Reese DeSha, Zion Thomas, Nyla, Neely, Novella, and Kneecy Guthrie, a daughter-in-law, Faye DeSha, and two sisters, Buella Khan of Yuba City, CA, and Jackie Cook of Chico, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Bruce DeSha, and a brother, William Page.

Anita was a loving mother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was known as granny to many people.

The family will host a graveside service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Pine Tree Cemetery in Patterson.

Memorials may be made to Greene County Health Department Respite Care.
