Ralph Walter Morse, 73, a Mesa County resident for most of his life, died at 4 a.m. Sunday at his home in Apache Junction, Ariz. Mr. Morse ranched at Collbran and on Glade Park for a number of years. He later moved to Grand Junction and worked for the Mesa County Road Department for several years, retiring about 10 years ago. He moved to Mesa, Ariz., where he operated a gift shop-fruit stand until a year ago. Surviving is his wife, the former Neville Hall and two sons, William of Grand Junction and Donald of Wallace, Ida.; three brothers, Leland of Grand Junction, Merle of Vernal, Utah, and Glen of Molina; four sisters, Mrs. Verna Kehr of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Ellen Brouse of Grand Junction, Mrs. Helen Kinnaman of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Lois Faast of Mesa, Ariz.
