Tressie Stoltz, 80, Mt. Carmel, died Sept. 9, 1982 in her home. Services were held Sept. 12, in Shorts Memorial Chapel in Mt. Carmel with Brother Lyle Berry officiating. Burial was in Lick Prairie Cemetery.Mrs. Stoltz was born Nov. 13, 1901 in Wabash County, the daughter of Harland and Eva (Whitaker) Doty. She married Adam Stoltz April 4, 1923 and he survives. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Mt. Carmel.Other survivors include a son, Leland, Mt. Carmel; three daughters, Bernell Seals, Mt. Carmel, Wanda Root, Bone Gap, Patsy Stivers, Olney; a sister, Bessie McGregor, Olney; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.From obituary in The Olney Daily Mail.
