He always had a sarcastic comment ready and his own brand of tough love for those in his life.

Harry worked for Baker Oil Tools/Baker Hughes for 45 years. His career started in New Orleans, LA, moving to Lafayette, LA, and then onto Houston, TX. Thereupon they asked him to start a branch in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. He jumped at the opportunity and continued working overseas until his retirement in 2011. He shared his passion and wisdom with everyone he worked with and was much loved by his work family.

He met the love of his life, Jenora "Jo" Bergeron-Hammons and was married on February 15, 1967. They settled in New Orleans, LA, then onto Youngsville, LA before moving to Willis, TX to enjoy lake life on Lake Conroe in 1989.
