There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas.
Leon is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Willie Mae Calhoun; sons, Leon Calhoun and wife, Heather of Ft. Worth, Texas, Travis Calhoun and wife, Felisha of Gainesville, Texas; brother, Roosevelt Calhoun and wife, Nadine of Louisville, Kentucky; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He left them all with precious memories and he will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In support of our local, state, and federal government including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, social distancing and the wearing of masks while attending the funeral services and visitation will be observed.
