Andrew T. Bachovin "Andy", on January 18, 2021, of Haddonfield. Age 74.
Beloved Husband of 56 years to Barbara A. (nee Berryman). Loving son of the late Andrew S. and Anna Bachovin. Devoted father of Jennifer Wilkinson (Fred), Emily Chrupcala (Jack) and Andrew W (Stephanie Resino). Andrew was known as "Didi" to his 8 beloved grandchildren who will forever miss him: Sophia, Cecelia and Stella Wilkinson, Alec, Brandon and Connor Chrupcala, and Sydney and Andrew Bachovin. He was known as "Butchie" to his surviving siblings, Mary Grofcsik (Herb), Helen Bachovin, Stephen Bachovin (Maria), George Bachovin (Darlene) and Daniel Bachovin (Deborah). Also survived by numerous nieces, two nephews, many cousins and his beloved dog, Dino.
Andrew was a Pysanky egg artist and amateur iconographer. He was a devoted Byzantine Catholic and served as a Church Trustee. He proudly served in the USMC and is a Vietnam veteran. Andrew graduated from Drexel University with a degree in Architecture and throughout his career worked for Aramark, Vulcan Hart and was the founder of Bachovin-Healy Group. Prior to retiring, Andrew was the CEO of 4 Star Representatives. His favorite job however, was Head Counselor at Camp Babaluau for many years, actively taking all 8 grandchildren on endless summer trips. If there was fun to be had in the Tri-state area, Didi drove them there!
There will be a viewing from 7pm to 9pm on Friday, January 22, at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral service and Interment are private at the request of the family.
