Gregory Dewayne “Greg” Amey, age 63, of Morrison, passed away peacefully at home and went to be with his Lord on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
Greg was born in Cushing, OK on December 10, 1957. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Science. He was a chief pilot for Special Energy in Stillwater. Greg loved living in Branson and at Table Rock Lake.
He is predeceased by his father Eldon Amey; his maternal grandmother Virginia Heath; his paternal grandparents Virgel and Nathalie Amey; and his brother-in-law Erron Engle.
Members of his family include his loving wife of 41 years, Cathy Hudgins Amey; his mother Emma (Jerry) Thomas and step-dad Arlie Thomas; his dogs Romeo, Kylie, and Sammi; his sister Kristy and husband Howard; his brother Leslie; a brother-in-law David and wife Cindi; sisters-in-law Connie and Becky and husband Ronald; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Steve and Bob.
