s/o Alfons and Dorine (LeBlanc) Peterson; h/o Jeanie (Thatcher) Peterson

He was raised and educated in Watertown, MA and graduated from Watertown High School. He attended Northeastern University.

Alan served the country he loved in South East Asia during the early years of the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1963.

Alan built his successful business from the ground up and never retired. He loved working as a self-employed manufactures representative in the commercial window and door industry. Alan made a name for himself as an expert in acoustics and hurricane rated products. His work allowed him to bring quiet and safety to the homes and businesses of people all over the world.

Alan devoted much of his life to volunteer mission work. He was passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with everyone. He would often say "I wear the love I have for my Lord on my sleeve." Alan would start every morning in prayer, studying his devotional and then sending out a "Good News this Good morning" email to his family and friends. Alan's life was one of dedication and unconditional love to his Lord, his family, his friends, and his community, which reached all the way to Africa. Alan believed whole heartedly that we are all Children of a Loving God and his mission was to share that message with the world. Alan enjoyed golfing, skiing, and storytelling with the guys. He lived life to the fullest each and every day.
