Charles S. Kinsey, 95, of 1490 County Road 175 died Friday afternoon at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland. He was born Nov. 15, 1897, in Glenmont to Samuel and Dora Darr Kinsey. Mr. Kinsey was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Middaugh Kinsey, whom he married June 25, 1930; three sons, Harold D. Kinsey of Polk, Dennis W. Kinsey of Jeromesville and Roger E. Kinsey of Ashland; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Gertrude Michael, Ida Burkey, Laura Nowels and Clara Starner, and two brothers, Harry and Sam Kinsey. Calling hours will be held this evening from 7 to 9 at Fickes Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. Charles M. Horn. Burial will be in Ashland County Memorial Park.
