Hettie is survived by her children Sheryl Allen (Steve) of Pensacola, Jeff Shores (Angie ) of White House, TN, Angie Davis (Troy) of Hendersonville, TN; siblings Ann Alley (Robert), Floyd “Frosty” Angel (Beverly); grandchildren Stacy Keltner (Jay), Erica Brister (Josh), Shannon Shores, Cody Hayes and Austin Davis; great grandchildren Brando Julian, Arinna Julian, Lovely Brister, Daggert Brister and Ella Hayes
A service to celebrate Mrs. Shores life will held at 12pm on the afternoon of Thursday, January 28,2021 at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Brother Johnny Carver officiating. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the start of the service.
Hettie was a member of Mcferrin Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Dupont and Reemay.
When she was able, she enjoyed tending to her flowers and plants. She was also a wonderful cook. She enjoyed hosting large family gatherings. Her most requested recipes were for Fried Chocolate Pies and Chocolate Gravy and Biscuits.
The family wishes to celebrate her life with a small gathering of family and friends. If you wish to attend, please wear a mask and adhere to COVID restrictions. Anyone who cannot attend may watch the funeral service virtually on the Facebook page of Angie Shores Davis.
