Edgar Peter des Bordes on January 4, 2021, went to his eternal rest in the Lord. He has left this life with all love and peace one could hope for. Unfortunately, he leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife Maria of 50 years, his children; Brian, Randall, and Daniel (Dana). He also leaves behind some of his biggest blessing, his granddaughters; Danielle and Anabelle, grandsons; Brian (Brooke), Nicholas, Drake, Christian and Gabriel, as well as his great grandchildren Liliana, Daxton, and Luke. Peter is also survived by his siblings; Julie Thompson, Lee H. des Bordes, Jr., Denise Lindsey as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Michael des Bordes and his son Sean des Bordes. He served our country, as an active duty and reservist, in the United States Navy for 6 years. Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church 501 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, Louisiana 70433 with visitation from
10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery Slidell, Louisiana.
