Sherry Jane Creed of Hurst passed away unexpectedly on January 16, 2021 at Medical City North Hills with her children nearby. She was born on August 30, 1951 in Fort Worth, TX. She attended Polytechnic High School and Tarrant County College. She worked at Tandy/Radio Shack for over 40 years before they closed the business and from there went to work for Artia at Hometown, where she remained until she went Home. Sherry was most proud of her family. Her kids and grandchildren were the light of her life. Affectionally known as “MeMe”, she would often have the grands over to play games and would tell them that was the absolute best part of her week. Outside of her grandchildren dates she loved to have coffee or a good margarita with her friends. Sherry loved with all her heart and soul – she was such an inspiration to all around her. Born with the “gift of gab” she never met a stranger that was not a new found friend by the end of the conversation. Sherry was a big animal lover and would at times go to the shelter to hang out and love on the pets. She had two fur babies of her own, Millie and Boston, that will miss her so much. Sherry is preceded in death by her mother Barbara Camerer; brother Denis F. Nolan, Jr., and sister Barbara (Bobbie) Mikeska. She is survived by her sons: Todd (Darlene) Sanders and David (Tamara) Sanders; grandchildren: Zach (Alyssa), Zane (Amanda), Kirstyn, Kameron, Summer and Kennedy; great grandchild: Blayklee; sister: Patricia (Don) Moss; close friends: Janet Barnard, Joyce Thompson, Kris Winton along with her Artia Family; 21 nieces and nephews and numerous extended family members and friends. She will be terribly missed. A memorial service is planned at Sherry’s church: Thursday, January 28, 2021 - 10:00 AM Northside Church of the Nazarene 6750 Denton Hwy Watauga, Texas 76148 The service will be streamed through Facebook Live if you are unable to attend. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Sherry’s memory to: Humane Society of North Texas or Fort Worth Abandoned Animal Alliance
