Isabella was the daughter of James and Nancy Whitlock, and married James Preston 7 April 1871 in Greene County, Illinois.∼Daughter of William Whitlock & Ali B. Sheppard she married James Woodmancy Preston 4 July 1871 at Whitehall, Greeen County, Illinois. To them they had ten known children James Edwin whom maried Jenettie May Worrall; Mary Josephine who married Alfred Worrall; William Henry who died in infancy; Margaret Jennette who died in infancy; Gabriel Albert who died age 5; Roseann who married Samuel DeFrates; John Alonzo (twin) who married a Wendt & a Crossman; Joseph Otto (twin) who married a Peta & a Perena; Robert Benjamin who died age 2; & Fredric Irvin who married Florence R. Fillingham.
