Elizabeth "Mitzie" Skrepenski, age 76, of 1528 South 25th Street, Manitowoc, died Friday, May 13, 2011 at Aurora Medical Center, Manitowoc County.


Mitzie was born on December 4, 1934 in Racine, WI, daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Hein) Jagemann. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1953. On December 12, 1953 she married Allan M. Skrepenski at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc.


Survivors include her husband of 57 years: Allan, Manitowoc; her children and their spouses: Therese (Tess) Loiselle, Randall (RJ) Skrepenski, both of Manitowoc, Tami (Terry) Farrand, Byron, IL, Cari and Michael Schmidt, Manitowoc, Rick and Heather Skrepenski, Manitowoc, Jason and Sally Skrepenski, New Holstein; 12 grandchildren: Tracee (Tim), Hailee (Junior), Turner, Taryn, Cooper, Michaela, Jackson, Harper, Marina, Harrison, Isabelle and Sophia; 5 great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Allyn, Gabriel, Grace, Ella; three sisters: Jane Seiler, Peggy Bessert, both of Manitowoc, Annamae Logan, Plymouth, WI; two sisters-in-law: Pauline Jagemann and Barbara (Babs) Jagemann, both of Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sisters Mary Jagemann, Therese Omerick; four brothers: Joseph (Bud), Robert, Paul, and Art Jagemann.


Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dan Viertel. Cremation has taken place.


The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall from 4:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m.


The Pfeffer Funeral Home and All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, is assisting with funeral services.


The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Raul Mendoza for the remarkable care he has given to our mother, his beautiful lady. We also wish to thank those special friends that touched her heart daily. She was the most amazing wife, mother, and nana that always had time for those who loved her. Our hero is now an angel.
