Saul Acevedo, age 57, passed away on Monday, January 18th, 2021. He was born on August 16, 1963 to Blanca Acevedo and Raul Acevedo Sr. in San Antonio, Texas, where he grew up.

Saul was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio. He received his bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio and his juris doctorate from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University.

In adulthood, Saul made a successful law career for himself, having served as a justice of the peace for eight years and a practicing attorney for thirty. He was a respected and beloved member of the San Antonio community, and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Saul knew that he was a naturally happy, fun-loving, and generous man.

Saul was part of a large family, and he spent his entire life actively forging special relationships with each and every one of its members. Whether he was taking his son to baseball games, his nephews to thrift shops, or his nieces on late night McDonald's runs, Saul had an exceptional talent for making everlasting memories, big or small, with the people he loved. At any given birthday celebration, holiday gathering, or weekend cookout, everyone could count on Saul to show up with his infectiously positive energy and instantly become the life of the party.
